The Watauga County Parks and Recreation Department has announced that no events will be held through April 6 due to coronavirus concerns.
All scheduled events, games, matches, practices; Pickleball, Open Volleyball, etc are suspended until April 6th.
In a statement issued on Friday, the department said they have been monitoring the situation and are following the protocol set by the North Carolina High School Athletic Association.
The department went on to add that they will continue to monitor the situation and will make additional announcements as deemed necessary.
