Warmest day since October 2020, rain and cooler temps on the way

It was a warm one today. Boone topped out at 75.4 degrees, hitting that mark at 3:35pm and lasting until 5:55pm. That is the warmest day since October 29th (75.2 degrees).

But it won't last long as cooler temperatures and rain are on the way.

Thursday Partly sunny. A chance of showers with isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs in the mid 60s. South winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 35 mph. Chance of rain 30 percent.

Thursday Night Partly cloudy in the evening, then becoming mostly cloudy. A chance of showers with a slight chance of thunderstorms. Lows in the lower 50s. South winds 10 to 15 mph. Gusts up to 30 mph in the evening. Chance of rain 40 percent.
