Traffic Stop in Blowing Rock leads to arrest for felony possession of meth and concealed weapon charges.

On Thursday, January 22 Blowing Rock Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling on US 321 South that was displaying a license plate was revoked and belonged on another vehicle. After an investigation Richard Lydens, of Hudson, was arrested. Mr. Lydens was charged with felony possession of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, possession of concealed weapon, driving while license revoked, expired registration, no liability insurance, revoked license plate, and having a fictitious license plate.

Mr. Lydens was given no bond until he went in front of a judge. His bond was set at $20,000 after that appearance.
