The remnants of Tropical Storm/Hurricane Zeta will impact the weather across the High Country for the later part of the workweek. Heavy rain and possibly strong winds will be the story for Thursday.
A slight chance of rain, 30%, is forecast for Wednesday increasing to 70% for Wednesday night before most of Zeta's impacts are felt. Rainfall forecast amounts are in the two to three-inch range, with the peaks of the Blue Ridge getting more, according to the National Weather Service.
