…A CLUSTER OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT WESTERN WATAUGA AND
NORTHWESTERN ASHE COUNTIES THROUGH 715 PM EDT…
At 619 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 10 miles southeast of
Bristol Va to near Hampton. Movement was east at 40 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
