northwest North Carolina, southwest Virginia, west central Virginia
and southeast West Virginia.
.DAY ONE…Today and tonight.
There is a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms and a marginal
risk for excessive rainfall this afternoon and evening.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Friday through Wednesday.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected Friday afternoon.
Some of these storms could become severe with damaging wind the
main threat.
