This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north central North Carolina,
northwest North Carolina, central Virginia, south central Virginia,
southwest Virginia, west central Virginia and southeast West
Virginia.

.DAY ONE…Today and tonight.

There is a risk for strong to severe storms across the majority of
the area this afternoon into evening. The main threat will be
damaging winds. Heavy rain and localized flooding is possible mainly
west of the Blue Ridge.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Sunday through Friday.

The risk for severe storms continues on Sunday and Monday. The main
threats on Sunday will be damaging winds and large hail. A tornado
cannot be ruled out in the far east. Heavy rain and localized
flooding is possible mainly west of the Blue Ridge. The main threats
on Monday will be damaging wind.
