This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest North Carolina,
southwest Virginia, west central Virginia and southeast West
Virginia.
.DAY ONE…Today and tonight.
Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Sunday through Friday.
Increasingly hot weather is forecast the entire week. While we will
stay below 100 for heat index values, it will still be hot and humid
at times, which may be dangerous for sensitive individuals.
As the heat builds, limit outdoor activity, stay hydrated, and
ensure access to air-conditioning and other cooling areas.
