This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north central North Carolina,
northwest North Carolina, central Virginia, south central Virginia,
southwest Virginia, west central Virginia and southeast West
Virginia.
.DAY ONE…Today and tonight.
There is a Slight Risk, or Level 2 of 5, of severe thunderstorms
that could produce damaging winds, large hail, and an isolated
tornado during the afternoon. There is a marginal risk, or Level 1 of
4, for excessive rainfall that may also result in localized flash
flooding of creeks and small rivers.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Saturday through Thursday.
There is a low probability for widespread hazardous weather.
