The Watauga Board of Education has voted unanimously for Plan B, which means that the Valle Crucis students will start at the alternate sites on Aug. 18.
They’ll move into the new school as soon as they are able to legally and all of the certifications that are required pass.
Students and staff will return to the alternate sites of CCC&TI, Valle Crucis Conference Center, and Holy Cross Episcopal Church. Pre-K will be at Cove Creek School.
The plan is to move to the new school location as soon as all inspections have been passed and conditions can ensure that the school is fully functional.
