The right lane of Interstate 40 East approaching Exit 151 (U.S. 21/East Statesville/Harmony) will be closed overnight from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Monday, April 8 and Tuesday, April 9 as part of the I-40/77 interchange improvement project in Statesville.
Crews will be placing girders on two structures over Fourth Creek near the I-40 on-ramp from U.S. 21.
Traffic heading onto I-40 East from U.S. 21 will be detoured onto I-40 West to Exit 150 to get back onto the interstate.
