Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute nearing completion of an expansion to the Occupational Training Facility on the Watauga Campus in Boone . With the expansion, CCC&TI will increase its capacity to offer a variety of high-demand programs for Fall 2025.
The expansion project adds 10,000 square feet to the facility which was constructed on the campus in 2015. The expansion will allow the college to offer more training opportunities for local students in several high-demand, high-wage careers.
The top floor of the expansion will include two state-of-the-art simulated nursing labs for the college’s nursing programs. The lower floor of the expansion provides spaces for construction trades programs including plumbing, HVAC, and residential wiring.
CCC&TI is now enrolling for Fall 2025 and has already increased available seats and sections for these programs, most of which start in August.
Students interested in enrolling are encouraged to apply now for these high-demand programs. For more information on specific programs of study, to apply or to register, visit www.cccti.edu.
