Last Updated on February 24, 2026 3:37 pm

Boone Town Council will hear an informal presentation on Wednesday, February 25, on a proposed four-story, 140-room hotel and conference center at 2748 Highway 105, at the intersection of NC 105 and Poplar Grove Road.

The concept by Panoramic Hospitality includes a 14,000 square foot conference center, a 6,000 square foot restaurant, a 6,000 square foot catering kitchen, a 177,000 square foot parking garage with approximately 500 spaces, and AppalCART drop-off access.

The design by HBS Design of Charlotte shows the hotel built into the hillside with the parking garage underneath, utilizing the natural elevation change between Highland Hills Avenue and Highway 105.

This is an informal discussion only — no vote is expected. The presentation is part of the Town Council's regular meeting at 5:00 p.m. at Town Council Chambers, 1500 Blowing Rock Road.

The full 388-page agenda packet is available on the Town of Boone website.
