Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute recently celebrated the graduates of the Medical and Cardiovascular Sonography programs with a special pinning ceremony at the J.E. Broyhill Civic Center in Lenoir. Cardiovascular Sonographers use specialized equipment to create images of the heart and blood vessels and is essential for helping identify medical issues or disease. Medical Sonographers focus on images of internal organs and is also used in obstetrics and gynecology.
