Work will finish on a bridge on Dutch Creek Road, leading to a section of the road being closed for a time to allow for completion.
A Bridge Maintenance crew has been removing and replacing the floor and steel beams, according to David Uchiyama with NCDOT. Uchiyama tells WataugaOnline.com that the work has been performed so far with just one lane of the road closed. “They will have to close the entire road tomorrow to finish installing the new floor and beams”, he adds. The work is scheduled to be completed in one day.
