According to Ashe County Emergency Management – “In preparation for the upcoming storm, a shelter will open at Ashe County High School located at 184 Campus Drive in West Jefferson on Saturday, January 24, beginning at 10:00 a.m. This location will provide a safe place for those impacted. Pets will be transported to a separate facility.”
