Blue Ridge Electric members were impacted by a power outage in the southern end of the county on Wednesday night. According to Blue Ridge EMC, while working on upgrading power lines and system for the area serving Aho/Blowing Rock, a short outage occurred on Wednesday for 6 minutes.
The outage affected 4,262 members from 8:18 pm to 8:24 pm.
