Every week, Town of Boone operations may change. As such, please see below information and guidance so that you may stay informed as a resident and community member:
Parking Enforcement Update: The Town of Boone will not be enforcing parking in during the week of October 14th to October 19th. An update will be given once parking enforcement resumes.
Sanitation and Recycling Update: Republic Services, the Town of Boone’s contracted sanitation services provider, has begun running residential routes and has resumed the pre-Hurricane schedule. Recycling services will resume this week. Please place your trash and recycling bins curbside on your regularly scheduled date.
Leaf Pick-Up Delay: The Town of Boone normally conducts a bagged leaf pick-up service, beginning this week. Due to Hurricane Helene, bagged leaf pick-up will be delayed one week, and is set to begin Monday, October 21st.
Cultural Resources Programming: The Cultural Resources Department has resumed weekly music lessons and the Thursday night Old-Time Jam sessions. More information can be found at www.joneshouse.org
