…Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of northern Alleghany
and northeastern Ashe Counties in northwestern North Carolina
through 530 PM EDT…
At 454 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Wagoner to near Barrett. Movement was east
at 25 mph.
HAZARD…Winds in excess of 30 mph. Very heavy rainfall.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Localized flooding in poor drainage and
low-lying areas.
