The National Weather Service office in Blacksburg, Virginia has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for north central North Carolina, northwest North Carolina, central Virginia, south central Virginia, southwest Virginia and west central Virginia, including Watauga, Ashe, Alleghany and Wilkes counties.
Day One — Today and Tonight
A few storms this afternoon and evening could be severe. Damaging winds and localized flooding are the main threats.
Days Two Through Seven — Saturday Through Thursday
There is a low probability for widespread hazardous weather.
