The National Weather Service office in Blacksburg, Virginia has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for north central North Carolina, northwest North Carolina, south central Virginia, southwest Virginia, west central Virginia and southeast West Virginia, including Watauga, Ashe, Alleghany and Wilkes counties.
Day One — Today and Tonight
Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.
Days Two Through Seven — Thursday Through Tuesday
There is a Marginal Risk of excessive rainfall on Thursday. Storms may produce heavy rainfall that could lead to localized flash flooding.
