…Elevated Fire Weather Conditions This Afternoon…

A combination of dry and breezy conditions will create an
enhanced risk for the active spread of wildfires this afternoon.

West to northwest winds of 10 to 20 mph, with gusts 20 to 30 mph
can be expected from midday today through late afternoon.
Relative humidity will also drop to 15 to 25 percent this
afternoon. This will result in elevated fire weather conditions
that would support rapid rates of spread for wildland fires.

Please refer to your local burn permitting authorities on whether
you can burn. If you do burn, use extreme caution since fires can
quickly get out of hand under these conditions.
