Sunshine and temperatures in the 40s greeted residents and visitors that lined the streets of downtown Boone to watch the annual Christmas Parade on Saturday morning.
The parade lasted nearly 40 minutes, and a Boone Police officer told WataugaRoads.com that it was the largest/longest parade the he could ever remember. The parade started at the Watauga Co. Social Services/Health Dept. complex off the Poplar Grove extension, then traveled east on King Street and concluding at the ASU Legends parking lot off of Hardin Street.
