After an intense storm brought power outages and Flash Flood warnings on Wednesday, the High Country is in the marginal risk category for severe weather today.
The National Weather Services says that very heavy rainfall and localized flooding is a possibility, especially in the areas that were impacted by the slow moving storm yesterday. In a noon update, NWS says that showers and storms are forecast to start during the afternoon with the possibility of stronger storms more likely closer to 4 to 5pm.
