A section of Big Hill Road will be closed from Monday April 4-Friday April 8 for bridge work. The bridge is located at the intersection for Railroad Grade Road.
The work will include changing the existing I beams out along with removing and replacing the timber floor and railing according to David Wayne, NCDOT Division Bridge Maintenance Engineer.
