The NC Wildlife Resources Commission, along with NC Cooperative Extension and USDA Wildlife Services, invites the public to attend their free coyote conflict management workshops being offered across the state this summer.
Biologists will talk about:
- Coyote biology and behavior
- Practical, non-lethal methods to prevent/reduce coyote conflicts
- Laws and regulations regarding hunting and trapping coyotes
Each workshop will also feature a demonstration of basic trapping techniques to address problem coyotes and a Q&A session with agency biologists. These workshops are free, but space is limited.
The closest workshop for the High Country will be held Thursday July 20th from 6:00 – 9:00pm at the Edwin McGee Center, 928 Fairplains Rd., North Wilkesboro, NC
