Mrs. Tamara Lynn Stamey, age 55, of 366 Northridge Drive, Boone, died peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, January 2, 2023.

Mrs. Stamey is survived by her devoted husband, Michael Stamey, and two daughters, Lauren Stamey and wife Taryn, and Kellyn Vitanza and husband AJ; father Mike Fox and wife Diana, and Mother Vickie Coon; brother Michael Fox; and very special aunt, Pat Coon. She is also survived by a wonderful extended family who she loved deeply.

A life as full of love as Tamara’s does not happen by coincidence. She devoted every moment of her time on this earth to serving her family, friends and community with a spirit of boundless gratitude and joy. To everyone who knew her, she was the person you could always count on to show up, give without hesitation, love unconditionally, and make you feel special. Tamara didn’t do what was easy- she did what was right. She made being a devoted wife, wonderful mother, selfless friend, gracious leader, and faithful servant of God look easy, but it was her dedication to choose love, faith and hard work that made her life so good. Tamara worked humbly and tirelessly to create a life centered around family and community that brought her abundant joy. She impacted more lives than she could ever know and created treasured memories and traditions that will continue to enrich and bring joy to a community that would have been far less special without her.
