6pm- Just got a report of hail and thunder on Beech Mtn, also report of thunder in Valle Crucis
6pm- Just had hail, thunder, and lightning in Banner Elk near the base of Sugar Mountain. Woo! Sounds like it is dying off a little bit.
2:55pm- No reports of flooding yet, but water levels are rising.
