A portion of State Farm Road was closed just before 3pm on Friday due to a fire at the Kangaroo gas station.
The fire was reported in the breaker box portion of the gas station, according to scanner dispatches at the time. The road was back open just before 5pm.
WataugaRoads.com will have more information as it becomes available from fire officials on Monday. As of Saturday the parking lot was still blocked off.
