The UPDATED curfew times for Watauga County beginning today, 10/1/2024, and until further notice will be from 11:00pm through 7:00am.
Effective today, 10/1/2024, the landfill convenience center will be open every day, Monday through Friday from 7:00 am until 7:00 pm. See the updated hours below.

421 W Zionville: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 7:00am-7:00pm
Aho: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 7:00am-7:00pm
Green Valley: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 7:00am-7:00pm
Landfill: Monday through Friday 7:00am-7:00pm
At this time, residents should place segregated storm debris on an accessible NCDOT right-of-way. The county's contractor will pick up the waste from the right-of-way. Please be advised, household trash needs to be taken to one of the opened convenience centers listed above.
