This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north central North Carolina,
northwest North Carolina, central Virginia, south central Virginia,
southwest Virginia, west central Virginia and southeast West
Virginia.

.DAY ONE…Today and tonight.

Showers and a few thunderstorms will develop this afternoon and
evening, some of which may produce locally heavy downpours and
isolated flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Thursday through Tuesday.

There is a low probability for widespread hazardous weather
Thursday through Friday night.

This coming weekend, a broad area of low pressure will track
northeast toward the region from the central Gulf Coast. Locally
heavy rain is expected with this system.

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
