It was an exciting day at Valle Crucis School on Thursday as a beam signing event took place.
Current School Board Chairman Dr. Gary Childers, former Board Chair Ron Henries, former Superintendent Dr. Scott Elliott, current Superintendent Dr. Leslie Alexander, and Valle Crucis Principal Dr. Bonnie Smith were on hand to sign the beam, before the current Valle Crucis faculty, staff, and students were given the chance to do the same.
That beam is now placed in the new school as construction continues on that project.
