Lowering Of US & NC flags In Honor Of The Victims Of The Terror Attacks In Brussels, Belgium

On Monday morning Governor Pat McCrory ordered all United States and North Carolina flags to be immediately lowered to half-staff on all state facilities in honor of the victims of the March 22 terror attacks in Brussels, Belgium. Flags should remain at half-staff until sunset on Saturday, March 26.

“The terror events in Brussels, Belgium brings with it a deep sadness for the victims and their families, but also a steadfast resolve to bring these terrorists to justice and prevent these acts from happening again,” said Governor Pat McCrory. “It has never been a more important time for North Carolinians to stand in solidarity with our Belgian brothers and sisters against the perpetrators of these acts of evil.”
