A local scout troop spent part of their Sunday replacing the United States flag and North Carolina flag at Valle Crucis School.
April Green shared the images and details with WataugaOnline.com.
She stated, “Principal Dr. Bonnie Smith requested the assistance of the local VC BoyScout Troop 160. The troop was honored to oblige and replaced the old flags with new ones on Sunday, October 22 at 2pm. Oliver Owens and Elijah Hensley are the boys who went. They will retire the old flags at a later date.”
