At least three trees in Boone, in two different locations, were struck by lightning during storms on Monday evening.
Yolanda Adams said via social media, “At dinner time we heard the loudest thunder ever to the point we all jumped out of our seats. Somehow this lightning hit two of our trees right next to our house.”

$25 for single rider which includes meal and T-shirt.
$40 for double riders which includes 2 meals and 2 T-shirts.
All proceeds go to a scholarship at Watauga High School in memory of William Mast Jr., Pat Baker, Sgt. Chris Ward, K-9 Deputy Logan Fox and Luke Short.
