Tuesday June 7

Construction operations continue today on 321 in Blowing Rock with numerous operations scheduled including driveway paving at Citgo, sidewalk installation, curb & gutter installation, retaining wall construction, grade work, and storm drainage structure installation. Many of these operations are occurring between Ransom St and Tanger Outlets and require alternating traffic shifts through this area. Motorists are encouraged to slow down and remain alert when traveling through this area of the project.

Wednesday June 8

Construction operations continue today on 321 in Blowing Rock with numerous operations scheduled including driveway paving at Foggy Rock, sidewalk installation, curb & gutter installation, retaining wall construction, grade work, and storm drainage structure installation. Many of these operations are occurring between Ransom St and Tanger Outlets and require alternating traffic shifts through this area. Motorists are encouraged to slow down and remain alert when traveling through this area of the project. ***
*** Shoulder work near Tanger Outlets as well as storm drain work and median excavation in this same area are requiring traffic shifts for northbound and southbound traffic. MOTORIST SHOULD EXPECT HEAVY CONGESTION AND DELAYS IN THIS AREA.

Thursday June 9

A small pond/dam is leaking at the old concrete plant on Roby Greene Road. Roby Greene is NOT closed, but some minor traffic delays could occur.

5:32pm – Expect delays on 105 near entrance to Hound Ears due to multi car accident.

Friday June 10

Construction operations continue today on 321 in Blowing Rock with numerous operations scheduled this morning including paving between Tanger Outlets and Food Lion Shopping Center, pavement profiling on Sunset Dr, sidewalk installation, curb & gutter installation, retaining wall construction, grade work, and storm drainage structure installation. EXPECT HEAVY CONGESTION AND DELAYS BETWEEN TANGER OUTLETS AND FOOD LION SHOPPING CENTER!! Most of these operations are occurring between Green Park Inn and Tanger Outlets and require alternating traffic shifts throughout this area. Motorists are encouraged to allow extra time when planning their trips to and through this area of the project and to slow down and remain alert!
