- WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible. - WHERE…Portions of North Carolina, including the following
counties, Caswell, Rockingham, Stokes, Surry, Watauga, Wilkes and
Yadkin and Virginia, including the following counties, Halifax,
Henry, Patrick and Pittsylvania. - WHEN…Through Friday morning.
- IMPACTS…Excessive runoff may result in flooding of creeks,
streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. - ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
- Thunderstorms along a stalled front are expected to result in
repeat heavy rainfall through this tonight. Additional heavy
rain is possible with the remnants of tropical storm Arthur
