Many people in the High Country, and the immediate region, took to social media to comment and ask questions about the jets flying around late Saturday afternoon.
They were in the area to perform a fly-over before the kickoff of the App State football game. One of the pilots is a former member of the App State baseball team.
Chris Alessandria played two seasons for the Mountaineers and recorded 11 home runs, and started in left field in 51 of 54 games.
