The High Country has often been referred to as God's Country. Could it be that “the man up stairs” and Mother Nature were sending a message to back that up this week?
This unique image was captured from the radar page on Wednesday June 10th around 3:30pm. The screen capture is a “smoothed” image, meaning it smooths the blocks of data and makes the data look less gridded and more natural.
WataugaRoads.com weather partner Brad Panovich, Chief Meteorologist at NBC Charlotte, shares that “radar smoothing for sure contributed and frankly just totally random. These are bascially clouds and clouds take on all kinds of shapes that your imagination can think of.”
