A fallen tree caused power outages and a lot of traffic backups on Wednesday night. Boone Police reported around 8:46pm that the tree was blocking the road on highway 194 just past New Market Center. Rerouting of traffic continued until the road was back open fully around 12:44am Thursday morning.
