Watauga County Schools will dismiss students for the holiday break on Thursday December 22. K-8 schools will let out at 12noon and WHS at 1pm. Buses will run their regular routes and both breakfast and lunch will be served. The afterschool program will open at 12:00 to serve students immediately after classes are dismissed.
The school system returns back to class on Tuesday January 3, 2017.
