A home under construction is a total loss after a fire on Sunday.
Taylor Marsh, Watauga County Fire Marshal, tells WataugaOnline.com the home on Reynolds Road was due to be complete in about a month or month and a half. No one was currently living it at the time.
Marsh adds the home is a total loss and damages are estimated to be around $800,000. The fire is still under investigation.
Along with several local fire departments that battled the blaze, assisting agencies in the investigation was NC OSFM Fire investigations division, ATF, and NC SBI.
