7:56am – report of thick fog around Blowing Rock, careful in that area
10am – Limited construction ops on #US321 in Blowing Rock today due to fog. All travel lanes open today. Stay alert, drive with care.
If travel plans are for 221 in Avery County (heading toward Marion, I40 etc) expect delays. A tractor and trailer has flipped per reports and the road is blocked between Altamont and Linville Falls – 11:55am
3:55pm – possible delays on 421/New Market due to wreck

8:42am – reports of snow falling coming in via Facebook and twitter pages
2:49pm – URGENT from DOT – Because of safety reasons, U.S. 321 in Blowing Rock will be closed past the scheduled 3 p.m. opening today contractors had to set off additional blasts in the area of Cliff Dwellers Inn at Westview Drive near the intersection of U.S. 321 and U.S. 221/U.S. 321 Business. At this time, it’s uncertain when the road will be opened.
5:15pm- per DOT- All lanes on 321 in Blowing Rock are now open. Stay alert, drive carefully through the work zone.
6:30pm – getting report of accident on 105 south, near where the speed changes to 55mph.
6:42pm – UPDATED getting report that a vechile is off in the trees on 105 south near where speed changes to 55mph. Traffic is reported slow in the area
7:20pm – traffic should be improving on 105 south after reported wreck per scanner.

5:57pm – reported 3 vehicle wreck at Hodges Gap Rd and 105 bypass. Expect delays!

Lane closure on 321 in Blowing Rock at Elk Ridge Lane south of Rocky Knob Rd.
Sunny and 42 in Boone at 11:29am, same time yesterday it was 38, Tuesday it was 32, Monday 52.
12:10pm -Road work on Wilson Drive (heading toward mall)
Possible delays on 321 at Taco Bell due to wreck – 12:45pm

3:46pm – possible delays at the red light at Food Lion & 421, wreck reported in the area
4:15pm – report “Looks like a truck is broke down on 321 heading towards blowing rock right as you leave Boone. Down to one lane around truck”
5:08pm – getting report that traffic on Wilson Drive is at a standstill, the traffic light is not working per that report
5:53pm per Boone PD – Traffic light @ 105/Wilson Drive is working @ this time however traffic is only 1 lane both ways on Wilson Drive causing it to back up.
