The Boone Public Works Department will begin construction on the West King Street Sidewalk Enhancement Project after July 4, 2017.
This project will consist of the replacement of approximately 200 feet of sidewalk along the south side of West King Street from the Appalachian Theater to Appalachian Street and will include the installation of brick pavers and a bulb-out, as well as pedestrian signals at the Appalachian Street/King Street intersection. Construction is expected to last through August.
