Boone, NC — Watauga Humane Society (WHS) is partnering with Dr. Alex Wechsler of the Animal Hospital of Boone to host a low-cost vaccine clinic on Monday, August 25, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the WHS Adoption Center.
Sponsored in part by Petco Love and the Town of Boone, this clinic offers an affordable and convenient way for pet owners to protect their animals from preventable illnesses. Rabies tags are mandatory for all pets; owners should bring proof of current vaccination if available. If proof cannot be provided, tags will be issued on site.
The clinic is open to dogs, cats, and rabbits. No appointments are necessary—services will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
“Providing accessible preventative care is one of the most impactful ways we can support our community’s pets,” said Ashlee Yepez, Director of Operations Watauga Humane Society. “Dr. Wechsler brings both skill and compassion to this work, and we are grateful for our partnerships with Petco Love and the Town of Boone that make these clinics possible.”
