“I am knitting along last night and catching up on season 2 and all of a sudden they start talking about Watauga High School in Boone! Whoa!” That is how one local resident described hearing the mention of Watauga High and Boone on the ABC TV show Secrets and Lies on Sunday night.
According to the official show page on ABC the show is about, “The explosive power of people's secrets and lies will once again take center stage in season two of ABC's hit drama Secrets and Lies, focusing on a brand-new case and a new suspect. Eric Warner (Michael Ealy) is at the top of his game. Smart, well-educated and hardworking, he is the heir apparent to his family private equity firm in Charlotte, North Carolina.”
A recap of the Sunday night show from Entertainment Weekly reads in part, “May has no idea why Kate would’ve done that, but Eric takes a wild guess and concludes that — dun dun daaaaa — “Liam” was likely Kate’s son, since the name he used belonged to a teenager from Boone (the same place we found out Kate gave birth to a baby boy) who died a few years prior.”
The episode titled “The Liar” is available to watch via streaming at ABC.
