Thursday Oct 2, 2025 – UPDATE from NCDOT 9:15am – A change of plans: We have NO operations scheduled on NC 105 near the Watauga River today or tonight.
The schedule for NC 105 this week:
South of the Watauga River
Tues/Weds/Thurs 11am-2pm: Brief closures to clear debris from the road
Thurs from 7pm to early Fri: Rock scaling operations, traffic down to one-lane
