Approximately 200 feet of roadway in downtown Blowing Rock between the museum and John’s River Road will be closed from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21 for the removal of a tree. Blue Ridge Energy along with the Town of Blowing Rock and the Department of Transportation are coordinating on the project.
There will be a detour provided for cars but the road will be impassable for trucks and larger vehicles on this section of downtown Blowing Rock.
