According to scanner dispatch just after 7pm on Monday night, several traffic lights in Boone are out due to a transformer blowing in town. Boone Police are directing traffic.
Comments via social media also indicate that power is out to homes/business in sections of Boone as well.
UPDATE 8:09pm – according to scanner dispatches the lights are back working.
