Watauga County Schools will release early on Wednesday (September 23) for a scheduled professional development time for school staff. Motorist are advised to plan ahead and be aware of increased traffic in school zones, and buses on the roads starting around mid-day.
Students in the K-8 schools will be dismissed at 12noon and Watauga High will let out at 1pm. School buses will run their regular routes and both breakfast and lunch will be served.
